A school of Mako sharks worked their way up the Oregon coast from Bandon to Newport on Saturday and went into a trophy feeding frenzy. Every member took home an award and the club even pulled down the Club Participation award. Not bad for a bunch of "Old C3's". A fun time was had and it was a great start to the 2012 Corvette season. Looking forward to many more outings this summer. Bob and Gayle will pick this months dinner, more info to come.
Randy and I are entering the Lakeside Crawdad Festival car show this Saturday, show starts at 10am. Anyone wanting to join, just let one of us know so we can set up meet times.
So, how was the car show, Kim? I hope you got an award. :) Speaking of Corvette cars, have you seen the 2013 Chevy Corvette? They come in different names: Corvette Convertible, Corvette Grand Sport Coupe, Corvette Grand Sport Convertible, Corvette 427, Corvette Z06 and Corvette ZR1. They also come in different styles, and of course, prices. But the Corvette ZR1 is the most expensive one, and personally, it's the best one.
