Hi everyone, with the new year approaching, Andy and I thought it was a good time to take a little trip. The weather is supposed to be nice on Tuesday, Jan 1st so we decided to go to Florence to eat at Mo's. Rich and Sandy are in too, so who else would like to join us? Email Andy whether or not you would like to come with. We are needing a Corvette fix!!! We will meet in front of Fred Meyer's in Coos Bay at 11:00. Hope to see you there!

The weather looks like it will be good on the 9th, so we should go to shore acres and see the lights after our dinner.

CHRISTMAS DINNER AND CLUB MEETING

Holiday Plans

The holidays are coming and the club has some plans. First we will be trimming our Christmas tree at Shore Acres on November 10th at 11:30. We will be going to lunch together after. Then on December 9th we will be having our annual Christmas dinner at the Hill Top Restaurant. Please let Bob and Gayle know ASAP whether or not you will be attending so they can make our reservations. See everyone later at 12:00 today, in Coquille at the Deveroux Dinner!!!

Deverouex Dinner

The deverouex Dinner is next Sunday in Coquille we will talk more about it and our tree decorating at Shore Acres on the 10th during the Club meeting.

HARVEST FESTIVAL SHOW & SUMMERS END PICNIC

Next Saturday is the Myrtle Point Harvest Festival Show and Shine & Car cruise. Show is 11am - 4pm Cruise is 5 - 7pm open to 1980 and older. Also on Sunday at Sturdivant Park, Coquille will be the Summers end Picnic. Sounds like a fun weekend !!!

CRUZ THE COOS

Cruz the Coos is this Saturday 6-8pm. Rich and Sandy, Kim and I are doing the Cruise if anyone wants to come check it out and cheer us on. The car show is Sunday at Shore Acres for anyone wanting to check that out.

CUB DINNER

This months Club Dinner will be at the Lucky Star in Coos Bay, 6:30pm Friday the 14th. This will be Randy and Betty's last Cub Dinner before they move to Washington, so hope to see everyone Friday.

A reminder that the club meeting will be on Wednesday the 5th not Thursday at 6:30 at the VFW in Bandon. We can go over final things for Saturday's Cranberries and Chrome Car show.

Coos Bay Speedway

Rich is racing this Saturday at the Coos Bay Speedway at 6:30. Several of us are going and cheer his car on. Hope to see everyone there around 6pm Kim and I might be late but we will be there.  GO 18. On the schedule are Big Rigs, Late Model, Sportsman, Street Stock, Mini Outlaws, and Hornets

Fireman's Benefit Car Show

Just a reminder that this Saturday is the Fireman's Benefit Car Show and Steak feed at Sturdivant  Park in Coquille.  Hope to have a good club turn out again this year.

August Club Meeting

Our August meeting will be on Wednesday the 1st, not Thursday. The same time 6:30 at the VFW in Bandon. We need everyone to come so we can go over Cranberry weekend Car Show.  I will need to get shirt size and quantity from those who want one also.

CLUB EAT OUT

Rich and sandy have picked this months Eat Out and they went with Yeongs in North Bend on this Friday the 13th at 6:30pm. Hope everyone can make it.

Parade and Barbecue

The 4th of July was a blast. What a great turn out we had for the parade! It was fun to see so many kids turn out to watch, though next year we will need to have lots more candy!!

Andy and I would also like to thank everyone for coming to the BBQ afterwards. You helped make it a huge success. Thanks to Bob for taking some great photos too!

4th OF JULY

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will meet at Ray's parking lot at 9AM on the 4th for the Bandon Parade. Kim said for anyone bringing something that needs to be refrigerated for the BBQ she can but it in her mothers refrigerator. She just lives a block or two from Rays. Kim and I have the burgers, beer and the fixings. So just bring a side dish and your folding chairs. Any questions just email Kim. Also we will have July's Club meeting at my house during the BBQ.

If the weather is good we are also going to Dishner's cruise in tonight at 6PM hope to see some of you.

REEDSPORT CORVETTE ONLY SHOW AND SHINE

A reminder for all that want to go/enter  the Reedsport Corvette Show & Shine on Saturday June 16th. We will meet at rays parking lot at 8:30am and meet the rest of the club at the veterans memorial in North Bend at 9:15am then drive up to Reedsport. The chainsaw carving contest is going on also so this is a fun show to do. Randy and Bet picked this months eat out for Captains Choice in Coos bay after the show, if you do not do the show we hope you'll make the dinner.

Engagement!!

Saturday was the anniversary of mine and Andy's first date and we went with the club to Coquille for the South Coast Cruiser's Rendezvous Show n Shine. Most of the club turned out and helped Andy with a big surprise he planned! Andy surprised me with a banner on the back of the Corvette saying "Kim, will you marry me??" and then he got down on one knee with everyone around and gave me a beautiful ring. Little did I know that the pot luck dinner planned for after the show was actually an engagement party! (Good thing I said yes, isn't it?!) Everyone was so great keeping the secret! Thank you all, for a truly unforgettable day!!

Coquille, Rendezvous Show and Shine

For anyone doing the Rendezvous Show and Shine this Saturday June,2nd meet at Gary and Diana's house at 8:30am. Registration starts at 9am show goes till 3pm. See everyone Saturday.

Reedsport Memorial Day Parade

We are signed up for the Reedsport Memorial Day Parade. People in Bandon will meet at Gary and Diana's at 10 am, we will meet up with everyone else at the Veterans Memorial in Coos Bay at 10:45am and head to Reedsport. Might have some rain but it still will be fun. See everyone Monday, May 28th.

May Club Dinner

Newport Corvette Car Show

A school of Mako sharks worked their way up the Oregon coast from Bandon to Newport on Saturday and went into a trophy feeding frenzy. Every member took home an award and the club even pulled down the Club Participation award. Not bad for a bunch of "Old C3's". A fun time was had and it was a great start to the 2012 Corvette season. Looking forward to many more outings this summer. Bob and Gayle will pick this months dinner, more info to come. Randy and I are entering the Lakeside Crawdad Festival car show this Saturday, show starts at 10am. Anyone wanting to join, just let one of us know so we can set up meet times.

NEWPORT CORVETTE SHOW

A reminder that the people from Bandon will meet at Ray's parking lot @ 5:30pm Friday May 4th and will meet everyone else meet at the Veterans Memorial on Hwy 101 @ 6:15pm and all drive to Newport. DISHNER'S CRUISE IN

The weekly cruise in at Dishner's on Broadway Ave. in Coos Bay starts this Friday at 6pm.  The weather is calling for partly cloudy, so lets get the cars out and meet up Friday. This will make a good test run for Newport's show!  Hope to see everyone.

MONTHLY CLUB LUNCH/DINER

ROSEBURG INDOOR SHOW

For those who would like to check out the Roseburg show on Sunday March 11. Meet at lot across from the broiler restaurant on hwy 42 in Coquille at 11am. Randy and I are going. Contact one of us if more info is needed.

Lunch Date

Dave has kindly set up our monthly Eat-Out/get together. It will be Saturday March 24 at 3:00pm at the Ranchero Viejo in Bandon. That is the resturant at the intersection of 42S and 101 across 101 from the Ray's shopping center. See you there!

NEWPORT CAR SHOW

For the may 5th Newport corvette show, Kim has us lined up with hotel rooms for $76 p/room for Friday night at comfort suites. Dave is working on this months club lunch, more info soon to come.

Welcome to this new site

Welcome everyone. I would like to thank Kim for helping me make this site. This was our first try to do something like this, so we hope you like it. It was made to help everyone get event and club info, share photo's and just to be fun. We will continue to improve on it as we learn more, so your input on what you would like to have on it will help us make it better.

Planning some summer fun!

Our Event Coordinator, Andy has been hard at work researching the upcoming car shows, cruises, weekend getaways, etc., and has found some really fun things for us to do. Now its just up to everyone to figure out which ones to do! We'll have lots of stuff to discuss in our upcoming meetings.
